Two children died Friday after the Jeep they were riding in overturned in White County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality accident report.
About 1:45 p.m., Jamie Ward, 34, of Pangburn was driving a 1999 Jeep Wrangler north on Arkansas 16 when the sport utility vehicle left the highway, state police said.The Jeep struck a culvert and turned over, throwing Ward and two boys from the vehicle, state police said.
Raymond Ward, 4, and Kenneth Ward, 7, died of their injuries, state police said.
Jamie Ward was taken to the White County Medical Center, the report states.
The report lists the road condition as dry and weather condition as clear.
