Keith Nichols, of Searcy, won a $2 million payout in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, officials said Monday in a news release.
Nichols purchased the winning ticket — a Gold Rush game ticket that cost $20 — at a Doublebee’s 135 in Searcy and is planning to pay off his home and invest the rest for retirement, the release states.
Lottery officials declined to give out Nichols’ age when asked.
