Old Crow Medicine Show Back For Round Two

Old Crow Medicine Show will swoop in for a performance this weekend, hopefully under sunnier skies. The Tennessee-based old-time string band was originally scheduled to perform on May 4, but the threat of cold weather postponed the event. Sunday will serve as the makeup date, and locals 3 Penny Acre are also confirmed for the rescheduled concert.

Old Crow Medicine Show, despite having very little radio airplay, has forged a following for its honest, old-fashioned songs.

Recently, “Wagon Wheel” was recorded by Darius Rucker and turned into a country radio hit.

The band’s current tour reunites Ketch Secor and Critter Fuqua, the two original members.Fuqua had not played with the band since 2004, but rejoined for the 2012 album “Carry Me Back” and the subsequent tour.
