Police Find Meth Lab After Stabbing

LINCOLN — Officers arrested a Lincoln man in connection with a stabbing Monday morning, and found a methamphetamine laboratory.

Caleb Pyle, 20, of 209 N. Main Ave was arrested in connection withy felony first-degree battery and manufacturing methamphetamine charges.

Police said they found Jason McCoubrey on Sunday night lying in a parking lot at an apartment complex on Carter Avenue. Three unidentified witnesses told police Pyle stabbed McCoubrey multiple times during a fight, according to a preliminary arrest report. McCoubrey was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center.

The report doesn’t give the cause of the fight.

Police searched an apartment near the fight and found a meth lab, police said. Witnesses told police the lab belonged to Pyle, according to the report.

Pyle was in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday on a $10,000 bond.
