Former Arkansas fullback Peyton Hillis will have a chance to extend his football career in Tampa Bay.

Hillis signed after working out with the Buccaneers on Tuesday, attempting to revive a career gone flat after appearing on the cover of 'Madden NFL Football' two years ago. The Conway native last played in Kansas City, rushing for 309 yards and 1 touchdown last season before being cut by the Chiefs.

After two seasons in Denver, Hillis broke onto the scene in 2010 with Cleveland. He rushed for 1,177 yards and 12 touchdowns that season for the Browns, in addition to 477 yards and 2 touchdowns receiving.

In five years as a professional, Hillis has rushed for 2,470 yards and 21 touchdowns, but has played in only 23 games the last two years.
