Consistency big key for ASU’s Townsel

Arkansas State junior guard Ed Townsel (24) is third in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring (15.6 points per game) and fourth in steals (1.8 per game), but was benched during a recent loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. Coach John Brady said Townsel’s struggles were a result of having to adjust to the defensive attention he is getting in the best season of his career.
