Dickey quietly reports to Jays

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher R.A. Dickey warms up during a spring training practice Monday in Dunedin, Fla. Dickey, the 2012 NL Cy Young winner, was traded to Toronto on Dec. 17.

The whirlwind ride that has been R.A. Dickey’s life over the past 12 months put him on a train Friday from New York to Washington, in an attempt to beat the blizzard and catch a flight to join the Toronto Blue Jays in spring training.
