2 Arkansans given presidential awards Jennifer Richardson, a science teacher in Greenbrier, and Christi Snow, a math teacher in Springdale, are among 102 teachers across the country to be named recipients of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/RICK MCFARLAND --12/28/13--  Ricky Howard on saxaphone and Ojima Robinson, both of Little Rock, on a drums share a light moment during a celebration of Kwanzaa at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock Saturday.
