Arrests Elkins

Dennis Peek, 23, of 20448 Mount Olive Road was arrested Tuesday in connection with breaking and entering and theft from a motor vehicle. Police said he stole an Elkins Public School van. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond Thursday.

Fayetteville

Jeffery Racaniello, 28, no address available, was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony breaking and entering and several misdemeanor charges. He was in the Washigton County Detention Center on $3,420 bond Thursday.

Springdale

Javier Villa-Vidales, 41, of 403 Park St., No. 10, was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony fourth offense driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor Rogers and Green Forest warrants. Police said Villa-Vidales was asleep in his vehicle with the engine running when officers found him. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on Thursday in lieu of $3,500 bond.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

Gloria Istre, 45, of Sulphur, La., was arrested Thursday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She was in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set Thursday.

Dallas Lewallen, 20, of408-5551 W. Pridemore Drive in Lincoln was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony terroristic threats. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond Thursday.

Jackie Rister, 39, of 21834 Mount Olive Road in Elkins was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony thirddegree domestic battery and misdemeanor second-degree false imprisonment. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond Thursday.

Mark Varner, 52, of 999 Javello Road in Springdale was arrested Thursday in connection with felony theft of property. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond Thursday.

Accidents Rogers

A 53-year-old man was hospitalized after a car accident Tuesday at the intersection of 13th and Olrich streets.

Jose Santa-Cruz, 27, was hit by a red Chrysler 300 just after 1 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of E and Lilac streets. Santa-Cruz was walking home when he was hit by the car. He was hospitalized with minor injuries. The car that hit him drove away.

Fire Rogers

A 9-foot trash fire early Wednesday at 1918 S. O St. was put out with a fire extinguisher.

Bishop Drive, reported a broken window early Wednesday morning.

David Batres of D&F Auto Sales, 2004 S. Eighth St., reported burglary on Tuesday.

Thieves broke in through a supply closet and traveled through the ceiling to a room where keys were stored. Stolen keys were used to take a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse from the lot.

Omar Navarro reported Wednesday a break-in at 2252 Linden Circle.

Allen Greg reported Thursday a break-in at 105 Putman St.

Carlos Pena reported Thursday a burglary at M&M Truck Sales, 2246 E. Robinson Ave.

Robert Whelpley reported Thursday a burglary at 1100 N.

Richard Johnson reported Thursday the break-in of a vending machine at 503 Thomas Blvd.
