Authorities fought a fire at a house in south Springdale at 2506 Southfork St., near Powell Street and Village Lane.

Flames came through holes in the roof and some walls were heavily damaged.
Capt. David Kissinger said all residents had been evacuated from the house. The cause was unknown, but the fire may have started on the second story, he said.
