The Butterfield Trail Elementary School archery team in Fayetteville has qualified to compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program championship set for May in Louisville, Ky.
The Butterfield team placed 7th overall at the state competition held in Hot Springs on March 15. Jacob McDowell, a Butterfield fifth-grader, placed in the top five overall.
Donations to the team can be made to Butterfield Trail Elementary School, 3050 Old Missouri Road, Fayetteville, Ark.
