SPRINGDALE — The search for a boy's basketball coach at Springdale Har-Ber is over.
Har-Ber has hired Scott Bowlin, who spent the previous 10 years at Greene County Tech High School in Paragould. Bowlin compiled a record of 191-95 at Greene County Tech and won state championships in 2007 and 2009. Bowlin replaces Adam Simmons, who resigned after three years as the Wildcats coach.
"We offered him the job Thursday night and he excitedly accepted," said Wayne Stehlik, athletic director for Springdale Public Schools.
