EL DORADO 47, SHERIDAN 13

El DORADO - Lucas Reed completed 10 of 13 passes for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Josh Brock ran for 2 touchdowns as El Dorado (3-2, 2-0 7A/6A-South Conference) defeated Sheridan (1-4, 0-2).

Brock rushed for 95 yards on seven carries, and the Wildcats finished with 323 rushing yards. Marque Burris and Reed each added 55 rushing yards.

Reed had touchdown passes of 35 yards to Sandy Brown and 10 yards to Cordell Griffin.

LAKE HAMILTON 48, TEXARKANA 21

PEARCY - Lake Hamilton held Texarkana to 28 total yards in the first half, taking a three-touchdown lead on its way to a 7A/6A-South victory.

Lake Hamilton (3-1, 2-0), meanwhile, gained 253 yards, scoring its first touchdown on a two-play, 47-yard drive midway through the first quarter. Chris Eastburn scored the touchdown, one of three 1-yard scoring runs the junior had in the first half.

Eastburn also scored to cap a 17-play, 83-yard drive after Texarkana quarterback Dylan Silvey lost yardage on a fourth-and-1 run from the Lake Hamilton 25.

PINE BLUFF 24, BRYANT 21

PINE BLUFF - Junior Austin McGehee kicked a 25-yard field goal on the game’s final play as Pine Bluff rallied to beat Bryant.

The Zebras (4-1, 2-0 7A/6A-South) drove 72 yards for their winning points after the Hornets (3-2, 1-1) tied the score 21-21 on a 41-yard touchdown pass from Hayden Lessenberry to Brushawn Hunter with 3:42 to play.

Bryant led 14-0 at halftime on a 1-yard run by Tyree Reese and a 60-yard fumble return by Davis Nossaman.

Pine Bluff began its comeback in the fourth quarter when Brandon Starks threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Walter Ashley with 11:40 to play.

Starks followed with 68-yard touchdown pass to Tyrone Payne.

Kelvin Sergeant’s 3-yard touchdown run gave Pine Bluff a 21-14 lead with 4:15 remaining to play.

Tevin Hunt ran 11 times for 118 yards for the Zebras.

BENTON 48, LITTLE ROCK FAIR 6

BENTON - Wallace Foote scored four touchdowns - two rushing, one passing, one receiving - and Tarek Beaugard added three scores - two passing, one rushing - to lead Benton (2-3, 1-1 7A/6A-South) to a victory over Little Rock Fair (0-5, 0-2).

Foote totaled 216 all-purpose yards and scored on runs of 23 yards and 1 yard. He also caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Beaugard and hit Zach Smiley with a 4-yard scoring pass. Beaugard also had a 39-yard touchdown pass from J.V. Davis and a 1-yard touchdown run.
