I-530 lane closures require extra day

Workers who performed geotechnical sampling on Interstate 530 this week will require additional time to complete their work, highway department officials said Friday in a release.
The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said the northbound, inside lane between Interstate 30 and Highway 167 will be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, if weather permits.
The northbound, outside lane was closed for sampling Monday through Wednesday.
