Wouldn't it have been smart to figure this out BEFORE you paid to have an election?

What was the cost of the survey? Why the need? Didn't the election results clue you in? There is a reason taxpayers view millage increases skeptically. How about tightening up your belts like the rest of us and getting a little creative with your available resources? What's wrong with a split schedule, anyway? A year-round schedule is also a good alternative to a brand new high school. My kids attended one, and we all adjusted and did just fine. I'm all about giving our children as good an education as we can possibly give them, but let's lead by example and show them that you CAN do a lot with less.
