— Police arrested a Fayetteville man after he reportedly shot a revolver at a vehicle, then forced his way into a neighbor’s home.

Eduardo Lopez, 26, of 2237 Dead Horse Mountain Road faces three felony charges of aggravated assault, felony aggravated residential burglary and terroristic threatening.

Two people arrived at Lopez’ home early Sunday morning and while they were in the driveway he approached holding a silver revolver, according to police.

Lopez shot the gun into the air, began kicking their vehicle and shot the gun toward the vehicle as they tried to flee, according to police.

Lopez then broke into a nearby house, waking those inside who called police. The residents said Lopez held the gun to his side. One resident tackled Lopez and he fled unarmed, according to police.

Police arrested Lopez on Sunday.

Lopez was in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday on a $7,500 bond.
