Arkansas Business Hall of Fame to induct 4

The Arkansas Business Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that it will induct four new members during a Feb. 15 ceremony in Little Rock.

The additions will be:

• Thomas E. Boyer of Amarillo, Texas, an alumnus of the Eastman Kodak Co. and the owner and founder of Micro Images, who led the company into becoming the largest Kodak Document Imaging Systems broker and reseller in the U.S. and maintained that status for seven consecutive years.

• W.C. “Buddy” Coleman Jr., the chief executive officer and former chairman of the board and of Coleman Dairy who also served as president of the Quality Chekd Dairy Products Association; president of the Southern Association of Dairy Food Manufacturers and the Arkansas Dairy Products Association: on the board of the National Dairy Council and a as member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee to the Arkansas Grade “A” Milk Program before his death in October 2011.

• William L. Cravens of Little Rock, a Certified Public Accountant and professional engineer who has held many positions in banking and telecommunications management, including time at the Russell Brown & Co. firm, First National Bank in Little Rock, and as a director of the Oaklawn Jockey Club, a position he still holds.

• Frank Fletcher Jr. of North Little Rock, chairman of the board and CEO of the Frank Fletcher Cos., a holding company with interests in 13 auto dealerships, commercial real estate, a hotel and three restaurants and a retail fur store.

The hall of fame, established in 1999 by the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, selected those four men to join the 58 members previously inducted.
