Fayetteville

  • Erick Aviles, 23, of 1190 N. Fieldstone Ave. was arrested Friday in connection with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor failure to appear. Aviles also faces charges from another department. Aviles was in the Washington County Detention Center on $515 bond Friday.
  • Ignacio Ponce-Nunez, 44, of 510 Phillip Drive was arrested Friday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor speeding, no driver’s license and failure to turn on lights. Ponce-Nunez was in the Washington County Detention Center on $435 bond Friday.

Rogers

  • Chatwin Tell Earnest, 32, of 307 1/2 Olive was arrested Friday in connection with commercial burglary, criminal mischief in the first degree, theft by receiving and theft of property. Earnest was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

  • Fransisco Santana-Zepeda, 31, of 2611 Lakeside Drive was arrested Thursday in connection with felony aggravated assault, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and terroristic threatening. Santana-Zepeda was released Friday from the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
  • James A. Box, 30, of 409B Park St. was arrested Friday in connection with felony residential burglary and misdemeanor third-degree battery. Box remained in the Washington County Detention Center Friday awaiting a bond hearing.

Rogers

  • A person was taken to a hospital Thursday afternoon after a car accident at Second and Maple streets.

Springdale

  • A collision between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer, reported at 8:12 a.m. Friday, sent one man to the hospital to be treated for lacerations. Both drivers were walking around the accident scene at 848 Old Wire Road, between Jefferson Street and Randall Wobbe Lane, when police arrived. The motorcycle rider originally said he didn’t need an ambulance before being taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. Names and condition of the patient were not available.

Fire

Springdale

  • A fire at 100 Ranchwood Drive reported at 4:23 a.m. Friday completed the destruction of a house previously burned. Damage to the house Sept. 9 caused about $150,000 with an additional $50,000 damage Friday. Firefighters arrived to find flames showing through the roof. The blaze was extinguished at 5:30 a.m. The house, owned by David Whitmore, was vacant at the time of the second fire. There were no injuries.

Bentonville

  • Brian Down reported Thursday morning that someone stole an outside air conditioning unit and a concrete park bench from a business complex at 1007 S.W. A St. in Bentonville.

Rogers

  • Mariah Borbon reported breaking or entering of a vehicle in the T.J. Maxx parking lot on Thursday. Two purses were stolen from the vehicle.
  • Officers were investigating the case of a man who was stabbed in the left shoulder early Friday morning while he was asleep. The incident followed a domestic dispute at 2605 W. Olive St., said Keith Foster, public information officer. No other information was available Friday.
