Occupation: I am the chief advancement officer for the Arkansas Museum of Discovery and oversee the Fund Development, Marketing and Membership departments. Working at the museum helps stir my passion for science and technology.

Where I live: In Sherwood, on the west side of Indianhead Lake. I live there with my husband, Chad, our daughter, Tori-Beth, a Great Dane named Prince Louie (appropriately named by Tori-Beth), a shih tzu, Parker, and a cat, Saber.

My favorite space: The hammock in the backyard. It is a triple-size rope design and is suspended between two oak trees in the backyard. Our neighbor’s large oak tree provides ample shading from the sun in the summer months and evenings. It is also close to my rose garden that seems to be constantly in bloom.

Why: It is a wonderful place to go and relax after work, or enjoy on the weekends. It is big enough that all three of us can climb in, tell stories, look at the leaves on the trees, guess cloud shapes and even star gaze at night. It feels like a mini-vacation when you are on it ... until our Great Dane wants attention and tries to turn us over.

If I could change one thing about the space, I would: Relocate it between two large palm trees on a Caribbean island.
