Deputies Target Reported Theft Ring

— Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested five people in connection with a theft ring involving break-ins to cars and buildings.

Forrest Love, 19 and Brandon Bailey, 18, both of Prairie Grove face felony charges involving six counts of accomplice to breaking or entering, 10 counts of accomplice to theft of property and one count each of engaging in continuing criminal enterprise. Sammie Cameron, 18, of Prairie Grove was arrested in connection with seven counts of breaking or entering, 11 counts of theft of property and one count of engaging in criminal activity.

Austin Tovani, 21, of Fayetteville faces five felony counts of theft by receiving and one count of engaging in criminal enterprise, along with misdemeanor theft by receiving. Christopher Adkisson, 18, of Lincoln faces felony charges of breaking or entering and theft of property.

Deputies received a report Aug. 29 someone broke into a camper and an outbuilding, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. During the next several days, the Sheriff’s Office received numerous reports of building and car break-ins, according to the release.

As of Friday, investigators recovered several items of property and cleared 11 theft reports. The investigation is continuing.
