Fayetteville Def. Rogers High
Fayetteville defeated Rogers High 124-131 in a girls golf match Wednesday. Fayetteville’s Anna Grace Lavy won medalist honors with a 39.
Abbie Parker led the Lady Mounties with a 41 while Morgan Conway fired a 42. Alison Head added a 42 for Fayetteville and Reagan Gates chipped in with a 43.
Boys
Rogers High Def. Fayetteville
Trevor Barton shot an even-par 36 to earn medalist honors as Rogers High slipped past Fayetteville 156-157 in conference play at Stonebridge Meadows on Wednesday, Mason Brodie also added a 37 for the Mounties.
Sam Hudson led the Bulldogs with a 37.
Shiloh Golfers Earn State Berths
The Shiloh Christian boys golf team finished third at the 5A-West Conference meet, shooting a 350. Harrison won the team title with a 311 and Alma fired a 347.
Shiloh’s Cole Stoecklein tied for second in medalist with a 78.
On the girls side, Clarksville edged Greenbrier 286-289 for the team title. Shiloh’s Natalie Akers and Megan Hash each qualified for state.
The girls state tournament is next Wednesday at Hot Springs, and the boys state tournament is Oct. 2 in Harrison.
