— Tearris Wallace rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns as No. 1 Bentonville beat Springdale Har-Ber 28-7 at Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium in Springdale.

Reece Dollins connected with Nate Gneiting for two touchdown passes for the Tigers (4-0). The duo connected on a 21-yard score in the second quarter to break a 7-7 tie.

The win was the 20th straight in conference play for Bentonville and fifth straight over Har-Ber. The Wildcats fell to 1-3 overall.

It was the 7A/6A-West opener for both teams.

ROGERS 47, SPRINGDALE 42

Nick Wary's 2-yard touchdown run with 3:53 remaining gave Rogers the lead for good in a high-scoring win over Springdale.

Wary completed all three of his pass attempts for 114 yards and two touchdowns for the Mounties (4-0). Preston Young added 128 yards rushing and three touchdowns for Rogers.

Linebacker Zach Jones deflected a fourth down pass inside the Rogers 10 in the closing minutes to preserve the win.

Deandre Murray rushed for 271 yards and six touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-2). He had a 64-yard kickoff return following the Mounties' go-ahead score, but Springdale was unable to convert.

The game was tied 35-35 at halftime.

ROGERS HERITAGE 70, SILOAM SPRINGS 21

Josh Qualls passed for five touchdowns as Heritage improved to 4-0 for the first time in school history.

Forrest Johnson had three touchdown receptions for the War Eagles and Brandon Gates added three touchdown runs.

Siloam Springs (1-3) was playing its first conference game as a member of the 7A/6A-West. Scout Alexander rushed for two touchdowns in the loss.

FAYETTEVILLE 27, VAN BUREN 13

Austin Allen passed for 270 yards and one touchdown, and ran for another score as Fayetteville won its first conference opener since 2006.

The Bulldogs (2-2) got 126 rushing yards from Brayden Cook after starting running back Brice Gahagans was injured before halftime. Ryan Starr added two field goals for Fayetteville.

Van Buren fell to 1-3 overall.

MORRILTON 52, SHILOH CHRISTIAN 14

Morrilton forced six turnovers to spoil Shiloh Christian's first 5A-West game.

The Devil Dogs (2-1) raced to a 42-7 halftime lead and led by as many as 45 points.

The Saints fell to 1-3 with their third consecutive loss.

PRAIRIE GROVE 30, OZARK 6

Weston Bartholomew rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown as Prairie Grove won the battle of the preseason favorites in the 4A-1 conference.

The Tigers (3-0) continued to play great defense, allowing their first touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter. Jon Halbert had a 62-yard interception return for a touchdown for Prairie Grove.

Ozark fell to 3-1.

PEA RIDGE 21, GRAVETTE 13

Dayton Winn rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown, and added a 46-yard touchdown reception to lead Pea Ridge to its first win over Gravette since 1994.

The Blackhawks improved to 4-0 in the 4A-1 opener for both teams. The Lions fell to 1-3.

FARMINGTON 61, GENTRY 20

Spencer Boudrey rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns as Farmington improved to 4-0.

Cardinals quarterback Keaton Austin completed 9 of 10 passes for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 4A-1 opener for both teams.

Gentry fell to 1-3.

GREENLAND 54, MELBOURNE 38

Calvin Tiddens rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns as Greenland won its 3A-1 conference opener.

Tiddens had touchdown runs of 60, 73, 15 and 63 yards as the Pirates improved to 2-2 overall.

Quarterback Darian Froud added two touchdown passes and a 75-yard touchdown run for Greenland. The Pirates led 35-16 at halftime.

Melbourne fell to 2-2 overall.

YELLVILLE-SUMMIT 42, ELKINS 7

Seth Morgan rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns as Yellville-Summit beat Elkins in the 3A-1 opener for both teams.

The Panthers improved to 2-2 this season, while the Elks fell to 0-4.
