Rogers tornado path 12.5 miles long, 450 yards wide

The storm damaged several building and houses in the area and caused damage to hundreds of trees.
A tornado that caused damage and injuries Saturday night in Rogers started near Cave Springs and ended in the Pea Ridge National Military Park, according to a report from the National Weather Service.
The tornado traveled 12.5 miles, and was up to 450 yards wide with a peak wind of 90 to 100 miles per hour, according to the report.
Damage included trees, signs and power poles blown down, broken windows and damage to a roof at Hedberg Allergy in Rogers. Two people in a vehicle were injured when the windshield was impaled by a piece of wood, according to the report.
The tornado was rated as an EF1, the report stated.

Scary! From the looks of the aftermath, it sounds like the two injured in the car were lucky/blessed. Thank goodness no loss of life!
