Youth focus ire on Jews in France

A French police officer keeps watch over a Paris synagogue Monday. A nation shamed by its collusion with the Nazis that sent thousands of Jews to their deaths during World War II is trying to crack down on anti-Semitism.
The gunshots outside a synagogue and the grenade that shattered the windows of a kosher grocery spread fear into the streets — but caused little surprise.
