This is sad news as Shonna Harvey would have been an excellent Director. The county spent just under 2 Million Dollars to build this shelter yet was unwilling to fund it appropriately for her to do her job. The recent budget submitted to the Quorum Court by Ms Harvery was slashed by almost $140,000! I fear without support and funding from the Quorum Court, this shelter could wind up being more of a Dog pound than a Shelter for our four legged friends!

KNWA just ran their story tonight about the Director resigning and stated the H.R department was unable to share any information about her resignation. That's interesting, wouldn't that be public information and available to the public and the media? Where are our curious reporters?
