Art Exhibit Takes Form
HOTEL SPONSORING SNAIL DISPLAY
Posted: May 24, 2012 at 5:23 a.m.
Treasure Deanes, 7, top, and Nia Turner, 9, climb on one of the pink plastic snails on display Wednesday in downtown Bentonville. The snails, 11 in all, were created by Cracking Art Group and are being sponsored by 21c Musuem Hotels. They will be on display through the end of June to coincide with ArtsFest.
An armada of bright, pink snails popped up on the city square on Wednesday afternoon, drawing children newly released for summer vacation onto their squishy backs as their mothers snapped photos.
