Bella Vista Police confirmed just before 9 p.m. Tuesday that they located 14-year-old Lexie Verdejo, an endangered runaway missing from Bentonville.
Verdejo, an eighth grader at Lincoln Junior High, was found in Springdale. She had been missing since Monday, May 21, after being seen last in the Bentonville/Centerton area.
She was transported by Bella Vista Police to the juvenile detention center, to be handled by juvenile authorities, official said.
