Tontitown has joined the list of cities to ban fires and fireworks.
Rusty Hulse, chief of the Tontitown Area Fire Department, announced the ban Friday. The ban will remain in effect until the area receives significant rain, according to a news release.
Springdale announced a ban of fireworks and outdoor fires Thursday.
