Jacksonville police search for bank robbery suspect

Jacksonville police are searching for a man who robbed a bank Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report released by the department, a black male entered First Arkansas Bank and Trust at 501 J.P. Wright Loop Rd. about 2:35 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding cash.
The suspect did not display a weapon, but indicated he had one, according to the report. The teller gave him an undetermined amount of cash and then fled on foot.
Police describe the man as approximately 6 feet to 6-foot-2, weighing between 200 and 220 pounds, and wearing a green ball cap, plaid shirt and shorts and black shoes.
