Heavy turnout causes some issues in millage election

School district boundaries caused some problems with voting today as did a heavy turnout in the millage election for the Bentonville School District.

Results in the election will be posted this evening on NWAonline as soon as they are available.

Kim Dennison, the county’s election coordinator, said there were problems at Bella Vista Christian Church where school district boundaries split precincts. Some people who live in the Gravette School District weren't sure if they could vote, Dennison said.

Dennison said heavy voter turnout at St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church and at the Centerton Fire House prompted election officials to send extra voting machines to both those locations during the day.
