Museum To Show ‘Pioneer Garden’

The Shiloh Museum’s Summer Saturday program, “A Pioneer Garden,” will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the museum. The family friendly event is open to everyone.

Participants can make and take an egg carton garden, plow the garden, use a bee smoker, “milk” Daisy the cow, string “leather britches” beans, plant corn, pick berries and apples, taste some pioneer trail mix and make potato prints.

The event is supported in part by a grant from Reuben’s Community Garden. All activities are free; registration is not required.

The Shiloh Museum is at 118 W. Johnson in Springdale.
