— Two Hollywood unions are scrutinizing worker safetyand welfare on Lindsay Lohan’s TV movie Liz & Dick after the actress posted on Twitter that she was exhausted because of long production days. Larry Thompson, producer of the Lifetime movie starring Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor, said Wednesday that no violations were found Tuesday when a representative from the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists visited the set. The Screen Actors Guild-AmericanFederation of Television and Radio Artists confirmed that its representatives visited the production. It said it “will continue to visit” to enforce guild rules. The stage employees union also said it’s keeping a watchful eye on the production’s working conditions. Lohan was treated last week by paramedics for exhaustion and dehydration. She posted on Twitter: “Note to self ... After working 85 hours in 4 days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & ... 7 paramedics MIGHT show up.” News reports that two crew members also sought treatment for exhaustion were incorrect, said Stan Rosenfield, Thompson’s spokesman. Liz & Dick, about the romance of Taylor and Richard Burton, is expected to wrap principal photography at the end of June after about four weeks of shooting at Southern California locations standing in for Europe.

Radiohead has postponed part of its European tour after a stage collapsed in Toronto and killed the band’s drum technician. A statement posted on the British band’s website Thursday said band members are dealing with grief from the accident and practical considerations that have forced them to postpone shows in Italy, Germany and Switzerland scheduled through July 9. Scott Johnson was killed Saturday when the stage crashed down as the crew set up for a concert in Toronto’s DownsviewPark. Three other crew members were injured. The band said the collapse destroyed its light show, which will take weeks to replace. The statement said new dates for the postponed shows will be announced Wednesday. The band says it plans to begin performing again July 10 in Nimes, France.
