The last building used by the Majestic Hotel in Hot Springs was constructed in 1902. The first Majestic Hotel building was constructed earlier in a different location and was torn down. An article on Stuttgart’s Riceland Hotel in Monday’s editions didn’t make clear that the Majestic operated in more than one location and incorrectly stated how many years the Majestic was in its last location.
DeShawn Bennett and Bryan Beasley are in a June 12 Democratic runoff for constable of Vaugine Township in Jefferson County. The race was omitted from a list of county runoffs published Sunday.
