B&B Funddrive, a local nonprofit, will host its 21st Christmas dinner at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ Activity Center, 904 N.W. Eighth St. in Bentonville. Last year, the group fed 4,102 residents in need.
Food donations are currently being accepted for the dinner. Items needed include gallon cans of corn, baked beans, yams, sweet peas, green beans, instant or whole potatoes and other vegetables; pre-cooked ham, turkey or chicken; desserts;
sodas, coffee and tea; and plastic dinnerware and paper plates.
Volunteers are also needed to help cook, set up and serve dinner. Toy donations for children are needed as well.

Last Night Fayetteville, a family-friendly New Year’s celebration, will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 31 on the Fayetteville square. The event will include a multitude of events for children and adults.
Musical entertainment will be provided by local artists including Emily Kaitz, Still on the Hill, the Artist’s Laboratory Theatre, Phunbags comedy troupe, Terra Nova Belly Dancers and Blossom’s Burlesque. Children’s entertainment will include a Giant Puppet Parade and performances by Shaky Bugs, Jugglology, Jason Suel and Kayleigh Calaway.
A VIP lounge, beer and champagne gardens, fireworks display and midnight Hog drop are also planned. General admission tickets are $5-$10; VIP tickets are $50.
