Louisiana back off Hogs’ list

Running back Kaleb Blanchard Denham Springs, La., reopened his recruiting Wednesday after Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema told his coach, Dru Nettles, the Razorbacks wanted to pursue other athletes. Blanchard was Arkansas’ first oral commitment after the firing of former coach Bobby Petrino. “They had some people they wanted pursue that they’ve been recruiting and just wanted to open it up,” Nettles said. “[Blanchard] wasn’t his guy right now. He thought he was a good back, but he felt there were guys he was previously recruiting and guys he may go after.”
