"The Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct has punished lawyers in the past for not disclosing to their clients their personal relationships with opposing counsel."

Mr. McDaniel's "client" is the State of Arkansas. I didn't get a letter from my lawyer disclosing this personal relationship with opposing counsel - did any of Ms. Davis's?

Tell us this, Newspaper Reporter:

Was the State of Arkansas's defense against "the group’s children, all white, [who] were not allowed to transfer to schools in a district with a higher percentage of white students" prejudiced in any way by Mr. McDaniel's alleged dalliance?

Which side won the case? Without knowing that, it's just another story about two lawyers banging... heads.
