Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (left) had a season high 212 yards on 24 carries against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Peterson has 1,812 yards rushing, leaving him 294 shy of breaking the NFL’s single-season mark of 2,105 set by Eric Dickerson in 1984.
