Patchwork defense comes through in OT

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray (29) goes over the top for extra yardage Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. On a day when Dallas’ defense was key, Murray finished with 81 yards on 14 carries.

Brandon Carr found a way to silence thousands of Terrible Towel-waving Pittsburgh fans at Cowboys Stadium and send the Dallas crowd home happy.
