America’s Car-Mart, the Bentonville-based auto lender, announced Thursday that it has opened its 118th dealership, in Enterprise, Ala.

Car-Mart’s 118 automotive dealerships are spread among nine states.

"Enterprise is our eleventh location to open in Alabama. Alabama has been a great state for us and we are excited about continuing to expand our business to more cities like Enterprise as we grow,” William H. "Hank" Henderson, Car-Mart’s president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

The Enterprise, Ala., opening represents the company’s fourth new dealership this fiscal year, Henderson said, adding that the company has five new locations secured, three of which are scheduled to open before the end of the quarter.

"Our current plans are to open an additional six new dealerships between now and the end of the current fiscal year," Chief Financial Officer Jeff Williams said in the statement.

"We continue to expect to open additional dealerships at an approximate 10% annual rate beyond fiscal 2013," Williams added.
