Where I live: I live in west Little Rock with my husband, David, and our two daughters, Lauren, 17, and Anna Grace, 15, and two dogs, Winston, a golden-doodle, and Reese, a cocker-doodle.
Occupation: I am the owner of Massage Envy Spa at Midtowne Center.
My favorite space: Our family room.
Why? When I walk in the house at the end of a long day I just take a deep breath and feel calm. The large windows give us a view of the Arkansas River, Two Rivers Park and the Interstate 430 Bridge. It’s like watching a moving work of art with barges and boats sailing by. When there’s fog on the river it is incredible and storms rolling in are amazing to watch. This is where we sit as a family and talk about the day’s events, making the room even more special. It’s also a very private property and we have deer in the backyard in the evenings.
If I could do one thing to improve this space, I would: Add a wrap-around porch.
