Security cameras took pictures of a man police believe robbed the Bank of Fayetteville "train bank" branch on Dickson Street Friday morning.

UPDATE: 4:24p.m. According to scanner traffic, police arrested the suspect shortly after he purchased a bus ticket to Louisiana.

A man robbed the Bank of Fayetteville "train bank" branch on Dickson Street Friday morning.

According to police, a white male with dirty blonde hair showed a teller a note demanding money. Moments later he fled to the south.

Preliminary reports indicate he wore a hat and possibly a jump suit.

The robbery occurred around 10 a.m. Investigators are on the scene at West Avenue and Dickson Street collecting evidence.
