GIRLS

4A EAST AT TRUMANN

HEBER SPRINGS 65, CLINTON 35 Magen LaRosa scored a team-high 19 points to give Heber Springs a semifinal victory. Jena Kelley had 16 points for Heber Springs (23-5), which led 30-24 at halftime. Hayley Scott scored a game-high 22 points in the loss for Clinton (19-10).

SOUTHSIDE BATESVILLE 39, POCAHONTAS 33 Haley Mourer’s 13 points helped the Lady Southerners defeat the Lady Redskins in a semifinal game. Southside led 19-12 at the half. Ashlyn Bigger led Pocahontas with 17 points.

3A 2 AT JESSIEVILLE

BALD KNOB 47, ROSE BUD 37 Makenzie Cox scored 20 points and the Lady Bulldogs upset the Lady Ramblers in a semifinal game. Haylee Dixon added 14 for Bald Knob. Tori Willborg scored 14 to lead Rose Bud.

3A 3 AT BERGMAN

MOUNTAIN VIEW 64, BERGMAN 29 Mountain View outscored Bergman 35-12 in the second half of the regional’s first semifinal Friday. Calie Ross led Mountain View (28-1), which led 29-17 at halftime, with 12 points. Chelsea Johnson led Bergman (25-12) with 11 points.

VALLEY SPRINGS 52, CORNING 28 Kayla Carlton led the Lady Tigers (31-7) with 21 points in a victory over the Lady Bobcats (23-6). Arielle Saunders added 13 for Valley Springs, which led 24-13 at the half. Rachel George scored 11 for Corning.

2A WEST AT COUNTY LINE

COUNTY LINE 37, MOUNTAINBURG 24 Ashley Lovelace and Shanna James scored 10 points each as tournament host County Line advanced to the championship game with a victory over Mountainburg. Maddie Backus scored nine points to lead Mountainburg.

BIGELOW 53, HARTFORD 45 Bigelow outscored Hartford 25-20 in the fourth quarter to advance to today’s championship game against tournament host County Line. Rachel Horine scored a game-high 19 points for Hartford (23-10).

2A NORTH AT MARMADUKE

BUFFALO ISLAND 53, COTTER 48 Brittany Fowler led the Lady Mustangs (32-6) with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a semifinal victory over the Lady Warriors(28-9). Jenna Pike added 13 points for Buffalo Island, which trailed 24-20 at the half. Emily Owens also had nine rebounds for the winners. Haley Stinnett led Cotter with 17 points.

1A REGION 1 AT OMAHA

ALPENA 75, JASPER 59 Jana Case led the Lady Leopards with 35 points in a victory over the Lady Pirates in a semifinal game. Alpena led 33-27 at the half and outscored Jasper 23-11 in the third quarter. Jaime Villines led Jasper with 15 points.

KINGSTON 47, OMAHA 15 Brooke Poolescored a game-high 32 points as Kingston advanced to the championship game. Sarah Rogers led Omaha with five points. Kingston held Omaha to five points in the first half, taking a 25-5 lead into halftime.

1A 2 AT IZARD COUNTY

CALICO ROCK 60, BAY 31 Emily Johnson scored 12 points and the Lady Pirates (32-5) used a 21-5 first-quarter run to turn back the Lady Yellowjackets (23-9) in a semifinal game. Karli Gilligan added 11 points and Brittany Fountain 10 for Calico Rock. Tressa Jenkins and Trisha Dedmon each scored eight points for Bay.

4A EAST AT TRUMANN

HEBER SPRINGS 18, STUTTGART 15 Tanner Rockwell hit a three-pointer with three seconds left to give Heber Springs a semifinal victory. Rockwell finished with 13 points for Heber Springs (25-6), which trailed 9-7 at halftime.

3A 3 AT BERGMAN

MANILA 40, VALLEY SPRINGS 27 Kam Ashabranner’s game-high 18 points led Manila (25-7) to the regional final. Will Halsted led Valley Springs (33-5) with 12 points.

2A WEST AT COUNTY LINE

COUNTY LINE 85, EUREKA SPRINGS 59 Justin Gattis scored 30 points and the host Indians used a 23-4 first-quarter outburst to rout the Highlanders in semifinals action. Zach Mainer added 21 and Hunter Wilson 16 for County Line, which led 39-18 at the half. Nick Bower paced Eureka Springs with 23 points.

DANVILLE 55, MOUNTAINBURG 50 Drew Rolen scored 14 points as Danville defeated Mountainburg in the semifinals. Mike Mimms and Jaylen Ester added 12 points each for Danville.

1A REGION 1 AT OMAHA

JASPER 57, ALPENA 46 Behind 20 points from Colby Pruitt, the Pirates downed the Leopards in a semifinal game. Jasper overcame an 11-6 deficit after the first quarter to tie the game at 20 at the half. Omar Perez led Alpena with 25 points.

KINGSTON 56, FAYETTEVILLE CHRISTIAN 29 Levi Riley scored 20 points and Michael Robinson added 19 as Kingston defeated Fayetteville Christian to move into the championship game. David Espinoza led Fayetteville Christian with nine points.

1A 2 AT IZARD COUNTY

MAMMOTH SPRING 69, BAY 62 (OT) Caleb Brown scored 24 points as the Bears (32-6) outscored the Yellowjackets (30-9) 18-11 in the extra period to take a semifinal victory. Garrett Woolridge added 21 points and Houston Cooper 10 for Mammoth Spring, which led 42-37 entering the fourth quarter. Gunner Freeman scored 24 and Damian Holt 16 for Bay.
