The Arkansas State Police and Dallas County sheriff’s office investigators are asking for help relating to the death of a Dallas County man last week.
A motorist spotted a body lying along Arkansas 8 about 10 miles north of Fordyce on Monday. The body was identified as that of Jim Gregory Wallace, 50, who lived at 3337 Arkansas 8, according to a statement from state police.
Investigators said they think Wallace was struck by a vehicle while in the northbound lane of the highway and died sometime before 7 p.m. Monday.
