RANDY HOUSER - County musician Randy Houser has released the hits “Boots On,” “Whistlin’ Dixie” and “Anything Goes.” The Mississippi native is touring behind his latest album, “They Call Me Cadillac,” and was recently named Top New Solo Artist by fan vote at the Academy of County Music Awards. Houser will perform at 9 p.m. Wednesday at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville. Tickets are $15 through the venue’s website.
JARROD GORBEL - Less than a week after he released the EP “Bruises From Your Bad Dreams,” Jarrod Gorbel will visit Fayetteville for a show on Monday at Rogue Pizza Co. The musician, formerly of the band The Honorary Title, is touring in support of the nonprofi t group To Write Love On Her Arms, which assists people struggling with depression and self-injury. Admission to the 9 p.m. show, which includes opening act Atlantic/Pacific, is $10.
ZAC BROWN BAND - The Zac Brown Band, which was named the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year and earned a 2010 Grammy Award as Best New Artist, will play five gigs this spring, one of which is in our area. The Georgia-based country group will perform on April 15 at Mulberry Mountain north of Ozark on Arkansas 23. Tickets are on sale now and range from $39.50-$60.
