ALMA — What happens when a stranger rides into a sleepy small town? In the case of “All Shook Up,” he sings a lot of songs by Elvis Presley. Described by its production company as “‘Footloose,’ ‘Grease’ and ‘Happy Days’ all rolled into one,” the show comes to the Alma Performing Arts Center on Saturday night.
The touring production includes more than two dozen of Presley’s songs, including “Jailhouse Rock,” “Burning Love,” “Don’t Be Cruel” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.”
The musical debuted on Broadway in 2005 and ran there for more than 200 performances before later becoming a national touring production.
