TURNING POINT Linebacker Jerico Nelson broke up a pass over the middle that flew high and was intercepted by safety Rudell Crim, whose 19-yard return to the Vanderbilt 20 set up Ryan Mallett’s 15-yard touchdown to Jarius Wright for the go-ahead score in the second quarter.
KEY STATS Arkansas converted 10 of 19 third-down plays, its highest conversion percentage in weeks.
