FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas Bookstore will hold costume and pumpkin-carving contests for students, faculty and staff, give out food and offer 10 percent discounts to anyone wearing a costume today.
The pumpkin-carving contest will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, with the prize being a $150 gift card good toward next semester’s purchase of textbooks.
A costume contest for students, faculty and staff will be at 2 p.m., with gift cards awarded to the first-, second- and third-place winners.
The University Bookstore is in the Garland Center connected to the new parking deck on Garland Avenue.
