Tax-Aide is looking for volunteers to work in Bella Vista, Rogers, Bentonville, Springdale and Fayetteville.
The program, which started in 1968, is sponsored by the AARP Foundation and the Internal Revenue Service and is free to taxpayers. The program helps more than 2 million taxpayers at nearly 7,000 AARP Tax-Aides sites nationwide.
Volunteers are trained and certified using home and online training material and are asked to work a couple days a week from February through mid-April.
Several leadership positions are also open, and there is a need for someone with computer knowledge to help set up sites and maintain equipment.
