PUBLIC VIEWPOINT: Fayetteville FOP Endorses Adams

— The Fayetteville Fraternal Order of Police recently endorsed Rhonda Adams for City Council Ward 4, Position 1.

Our endorsement does not come lightly. We have not endorsed a council candidate in over 12 years.

Adams is a longtime Northwest Arkansas resident who has been involved with her community and active in numerous civic groups.

She began working with the University of Arkansas in 1978 and believes in building on the strong relationship between the city and the university.

Adams cares about the future of this city while having knowledge of the past.

When we met with her, she didn’t pretend to know all the answers or flood us with rhetoric. One thing that was clear was her love for Fayetteville, and her campaign has been one of enthusiastic support instead of negative criticism. We are certain that Adams will take the time to look into the issues affecting the city and those particular to Ward 4.

There are some complex issues involved in city government and we are confident that Adams will have a positive impact on these issues.

She is the type of person that you would want looking into a neighborhood issue on your behalf. She is the type of person whom you know from your first conversation is serious about representing her community.

The men and women of the Fayetteville FOP support Rhonda Adams for City Council. Your local law enforcement professionals ask for your support on Nov. 2.
