LITTLE ROCK — MARY ANNE SALMON WALKING TRAIL

Trailhead is at the southeast corner of the parking lot of the Heflin YMCA Family Center,6101 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock.
Length:
The paved and easy trail heads east under JFK and ambles along Five Mile Creek to the turnaround at North Hills Boulevard. My GPS read 2.61 miles out and back.
Main attractions:
A delightful woodsy retreat in a shady ravine in the heart of the city, the trail features cool privettunnels and sunny open spots.
